take a look at the rubber line the connects to the lift pump on the passenger side of the engine if your motor mount failed it is probebly rupturing it. mine did that till i fixed the motor mount
i use mine as a daily driver and find it is quite a pleasent truck to run just as good on fuel aas most vehicles and has the cool factor that makes kids of all ages smile
i would recomend some sort of coolant spply to feed the coolant properly but power to the IP starter and fuel, oil and coolant i can tsee why you couldnt start it. might be a tad loud

i just did mine today took 3 hours and one of those crank style bottle jacks, i put the jack on the harmonic balencer *dont give many any heck guys i didnt have access to a hoist*. unbolted the mount and jacked the enigine up 3 inches...
well finally got my passenger side motor mount done, only had one hiccup.

i check my oil a the end of the day ie after i get home i let it sit for about 30 minutes then check it giving the oil a chance to settle completly and find i dont burn more then a quart every 2 months

on the replacment injection pump, up here in canaduh its actully $1000 cheaper for me to send mine up the line fora rebuild at the stanadyne autherized shop. NAPA wants $1,541.00+13%taxes. the rebuild quoted $500 +taxes for a rebuild to either j code specs or 6.5 specs.

when you take the rubber hose off the inlet nipple look about 1/4-1/2 inch from the end of the hose you will likely see a couple little holes looks kinda like a staple was put through it, in mine thats what it looked like. everytime...
