I also have x-doors and they fit these hinges without binding.

I bought a set of rear half doors. When I put them on the existing hinges that my soft doors fit on, the half doors bind on the raised heads of the mounting bolts for the hinges. Am I missing something?

I cannot see or use my passenger side mirror when I have the soft doors on my 1986 m1038. Is there a better placement for the mirror that will make it useful. I have a Rhino spare tire carrier on, so I am changing lanes and backing blind.

I have seen that one. The rumor I heard, and it's just a rumor, is that someone on the east coast was making fiberglass copies of the military type.

I have heard a rumor that someone has a fiberglass mold of the slantbacks and is making fiberglass sets. Anyone else know anything about that? I would love the slantback look without the $12k price.

Nope...you need the signal generator. I am changing out my drivetrain to turbo and 4 speed. Lucky for me, the new driveline has the proper sender. If you look at the thread above you will see that 86humv has the senders. Good luck.

Will any Mile Marker 10.5k hydraulic winch work in the HMMWV? Looking at a NIB winch locally, that is at least a couple years old. Does voltage for solenoid (12 vs 24) cause concern with dual voltage alternator?
