great follow-up...nothing like getting the correct info......eventually......BLM should have had the correct info in the beginning..poor...glad that you followed thru..so whose road is it then, county? and if so, no probs with them and your proposed operation..?
again, good follow-up..

I didn't think you would take it that way..don't shoot the messenger here....I'm not on the .GOV payroll..just trying to assist....I saw him just telling you the requirements..Since you never said you got any answers back from them, I, for one, thought you didn't have a clue as to what hoops you...
probably shouldn't use the tern *** shy when talking to any public agency :)
more info from my friend:
"...Many don't seem to understand that the reason for the rules (BLM, FS, ***, etc.) are for the protection and safety of the public he will engage in the tours... Any (permit/paperwork)...
have you discussed your project face to face w/ BLM yet? hate for you to get too far along and then find some sort of paperwork problem with the Feds..

I have a friend that retired from BLM..I possed your questions to him re: commercial use.. just a heads up..some may not be applicable to your situation..
"... He would definitely need to obtain a BLM commercial recreation permit. If he uses anything but a controlled access interstate or state...
Allison Trans on the 939 series.. and general 809 vs 939 series preferences..
curious re: reliability the Allison trans ( MT564CR )..does it hold up well ? Am contemplating either a 814 or a 927 a ways down the road and am trying to go point by point..strengths and weaknesses.. this question...
maybe this idea also but pretty heavy..maybe basic concept can be applied to any box structure..although all permanent mount items would have to be centrally located.. any idea what these might cost..?

found this thread and thought I'd pose a different question.. frame height for an M927/814 is about 3'-4' or so(ground to top of frame)? Thinking along the lines of the Extreme Camper M36 project and this mod install for the basic structure..hopefully on the used market somewhere...
what..there are other people reading this too..!..its probably because we are in the same vein..we don't have to spell everything out and can talk in '..code..'..sorry about that..
Pic's are good.. punctuation...?
