Nice looking truck Hale has not come through yet and if they do they told me it would only be the manual for the pump not the motor. They did tell me the pump seals are still in stock as they are still used in some pumps made now. If I get manual it would be in digital format so I will post...
I spoke with Hale the only parts still in stock are pump seals. They are going to find me a copy of their operator & maintainence manual and send it to me
I am a Hale dealer if you have problems finding one I will call and see what I can do for you. If you can find the serial number on it that would help alot.
I had a very similer unit to this but gas. It had a reconnection plate under the control panel and could be set for single phase not sure it that on is. Very nice unit by looking at pics. Does it run
start it with the throttle out about 3 turns. after it starts and has oil pressure hz meter and volt meter should jump. set throttle up until hz meter reads 60 to 62 hz. that is about 1800 rpm
either could be off but the unit one is not very reliable. just good to double check. I checked my 005 today and it was putting out 125 at utility outlet with it set at 240. I run mine at 220 all the time as I feed a building that is not 3 phase with that unit. and get 120 ish out of other...
Well you need to run it at 1800 rpm to get 60 cycles and running it with little or no load will cause wet slacking and can damage the engine. Diesel generators should be run under load as much as possible. this way the run hot enough to burn all the fuel and not build up sludge in the...
thats a good Idea. Hope you have a good pick up and safe trip home Welcome. I am about 1 hr away from you in Ma and have 2 003s and 4 002s so if you have any issues once you get home we are here to help.
The freq adjust will not do anything as a single unit, You MUST throttle the unit up. DO NOT let it idle. Voltage reg will burn up if you let it idle. start it flash it throttle it up to 60 62 HZ . I maintain 10 MEPs generator do NOT let it idle.
You will need to check the HZ meter as they have said. Also with a volt meter check the output on the main lugs 120/208 if you are set for 208. When you start the unit are you holding the start switch until volt and Hz meter flash and then let go of it so it excites properly?
In central ma here have a m35 converted to fire engine and m939 5 ton converted to fire engine. Also a M916a1 tractor if your in the area would show them off anytime
