Well it has remote start contacts and looks like an old 10 kw I had. The one I had was gas with a continental 4 cylinder. was a great unit. A few more pics would be great
I have 4 3kw units with that motor but a much differant control box and they are 3 phase or single. as peterD asked is the unit lugging down when you load it or just drooping in voltage?
As a general practice I remove both front and rear if flat towing or rear if lifting front. Just good to be safe. cheaper to pull shafts than rebuild. Good luck

You put 58 amps on mep004 and no problem. This is great news. so the conversion did not really derate the unit. so doing the same to afew of my mep005s should not derate them? Great work on your part. THANK YOU
If you want that fuel line to work I would pick up on more fuel pump from surplus and install it at the tee at tank to pump up to gen. feed power to pump from aux pump on unit so it only runs when need to fill .
by passed all the safety shut downs today still wont stay running. check all fuel in and returns all good. Had another mechanic look at it with me today and it looks like the IP has a problem will be pulling it and sending it to rebuild shop on Monday. Just fyi I work on these for the town and...
Yes it has the 60 series and I got 60 out if her on the way home. Great condition just needs 4 batteries and new wiper blades for now. Hope to get the trailer for it in the next few weeks will keep you posted.
