No, I have not had a chance to look at the fuel pump. I think I know where I can get a good take off PT pump, but it will be a few months before I'm able to get it off of the parts engine.

Rolling_Eudaimonia, lockers are available for your truck. Would they improve the M35s off road capability? Sure! Do most of the individuals on this forum have a need for them? Probably not.
If you want locking differentials in your truck, quit whining to everyone on this forum, and just buy...
22NF is a little closer than 51R. Not an exact replacement for the original 2HN, but I know for a fact that it fits the original M151 and M37 hold downs without shimming or modification. Here is a chart with size comparisons, fyi:

Good luck!

I've never been there, but I've heard about it several times. Seems like someone told me that it is near an airport on the South side of Oklahoma City. Is that right, Warthog?
A few people in this thread have mentioned inadequate brakes on the M37. In a stock truck, if the brakes are in good condition and adjusted properly, a hard application of the brakes should lock the wheels. If they don't, something is wrong with your truck...
Part of what I love about the M37...
If the older truck still has a functioning foot starter switch, it is likely the original 427 multi-fuel A1 engine. I've never seen an old starter reused on a 465 repower.

2,800 RPM minimum? I have been using 2,000 as a minimum. A little higher if it's pulling harder on a hill. I think 2,000 is what the manual says...
As far as towing a trailer with a Ferret, I wouldn't want to for a number of reasons. Especially one the size of a M105! A jeep trailer, maybe...
Since the turbo and all of the related parts are A1, but the engine is an early non-turbo A2, I bet when the engine was installed they used the A1 parts to add the turbo to the replacement 478 cubic inch engine.

Thanks for the information. From what was said in the the links y'all provided, it looks like that part was not intended to be repairable. I saw where other people were having a hard time getting theirs apart too. We twisted off a Snap-On 3/8" allen socket on an impact wrench trying to get it...
Paint and rustproofing isn't that tough... Scrape and chip it away from the plug and out of the square with a chipping hammer, punch, chisel, etc. Have you tried using a 1/2" impact wrench?
Notice that this truck still has the early A1 pipe and hose from the air cleaner to the turbo. Correct early 25 amp generator with a mechanical regulator too...
We are having a problem with the drag link load sensing valve on a M35A3 owned by the military museum that I work for. On this truck the valve just dumps the air straight through to the exhaust hose when the steering wheel is turned. No air makes it to the air chamber on the tie rod.
I tried...
Yes. There are different types of Halon. The little red military ones made from the late 60's through the early 90's with the disposable bottles are CF3Br, also known as Halon 1301.
