I think there must be something wrong! My goat starts fine at +5°F without the cold start whatever....

The handle on top is for 1-4 gear, the one on passenger side ist for reverse... I do have the arms and bolts, perhaps the whole system... but to return them to the USA would be quite expensive, $ 45,- You better try to get them in USA...

Thanks, no need ... I found a center bearing normally used for an IVECO Mini Truck that has the same size. I think that will work fine... :beer:

I might be able to get the bearing in Germany, but the outer ring, made of rubber, should be a very special part...!? I´m talking about part no. 4 at the attached pic.

Hi... yesterday I took the goat for a ride. Suddenly there was a smell of burnt rubber. I thought I had a flat tire but... it was the center bearing of the drive shaft. The rubber was gone, totally burnt... I disconnected the drive shaft from the rear diff and went home. Now I have to replace...

Some pics, showing the brackets and how they are mounted to the Goat... They are made of alu and to reproduce them would not be so easy, even if you will use steel...

Before I got the goat I had an UNIMOG S404 and compared to that vehicle goat breakes are easy to check and to repair! You can take off the hole brackets with all the parts on it as one piece and put it on your workbench... All the parts should be dry, if not check the wheel cylinders...

Also it was the weekend when my girlfriend Mara did her first solo-ride with the goat. After 20 minutes co driving and some explanations she did it very well! ;-)
