Well after three years took out my 68 in the first winter storm.
I have the fuel fired heater inside and it's toasty but the defrost is simply routed up a hose near the windshield but there is not a plenum or duct to force it to blow on the windshield to actually defrost etc.
Was there ever a...
Yea i don't know if I would chop up the rear and add a bed, but I was thinking of doing an m715 type/inspired front end full turbo diesel resto mod and built custom steel fender flares to clear the k30/f350 axles

They are designed to support a 6cyl.
I started with the highest efficiency coolers I could get. They are top notch.

As some of you know I'm doing a resto mod turbo diesel repower of my 68.
I'm not cutting or torching any body parts what so ever.
I wanted a modern way to cool both the engine and the charge air off the turbo.
Long story short I have made a custom setup from a well known company that will...
Exactly
There is a lot of aftermarket companies out there now that are making these type of trailers, off road camping type but they are big $$$. Schutt industries even makes a civy m1101 based camp trailer, but it is about 28k for the setup in want [emoji15]
Wow!! So the A3 and M1101 series have a larger bed height as they have 37" tires correct?
I'm looking to take two and put them together or find one that has a larger bed. I didn't know if they ever made a dual axle trailer with the cucv lug pattern.
Is there any surplus mil trailers that have a bigger bed than an m101a2 that are the correct cucv lug pattern? Or were the only cucv lug pattern trailers the m101a2?
Toying with the idea of building or finding a dual axle camp type trailer.
I think someone took an two m105 and put them...
Yup 12kw peak 10kw sustained it looks like.
If I don't hear back from that company in seattle that sells the power distribution boxes by midday tomorrow I will call them. They have so many different options it's amazing to see what you csn buy ready made
I emailed that company they're just in seattle down the street from me and told them exactly what I want to do so well see what they say.
The CUCV setup is definitely much better built then anything sub 5k bucks and it comes with a truck that moves! Ha but seriously do the digital controller...
Thanks for the info
I don't need the three phase much but would like to retain it incase I use a big amp item. Such is why I'd like to be able to plug and play.
On the military power distribution panels im sure they have one that is available to buy somewhere that would plug and play at more...
Please do share! Is there comercially available units to do this correctly? Does any member on here make such a thing. I know the gentleman who makes the digital generator contoller must have pretty darn good knowledge of these things.
Ideally I'd love to be able to plug into the 208 3 phase...
Has anyone ever taken the the 208 3 phase plug and made a job power distribution box that takes the 208 3 phase and converts it to a more useable single phase?

the biggest and really only issue i see besides hving to move the transfer etc is the flexplate. 2000 series allisons can be had all over with SAE 3 and 2 bellhousings, but correct me if im wrong the flexplate from the multifuel has to be unique to that engine series.
Read through this entire thread again.
What about one of the modern six speed allisons? The 1000/2000 series and up would be more than up to the task and with a .61 and .64 overdrive with stock sized tires it would perform great as the gear jumps are smaller and dont loose momentum. There is...
