It hard to find a good MV.You can get a wife any where.Mine told me if I bought any thing OD she would leave. I told her I sure miss my my dish washer.Didn't see her for 2 weeks.Had to wait for the swelling on my eyes to go down.rofl Danny

Check the lock see if its unlock.Then take cover off check for missing broke parts I am sure you can get all the parts you need from LMC.Do a search on here tons of info on the tail gate.I am sure you find what you need.:grd:

I had both sides go out at the same time before.Just check with a test light or meter see if you are getting 12 volts at the connector.Could be the switch.I would start at the bulbs work my way back see where you lose power at.2cents

My rear u joint was making that noise so i drop the drive shaft & found rear joint bad i replaced both front & rear joints be sure to get the ones with grease fitting so you can lub them.These veh sit around don't get drove so things will dry out.Got my u joints at autozone. Suggsdr:grd:

If it came fro a NG or Reserve unit they rarely drove them so 25 year old truck can have low miles.I know we had some 2 1/2 tons with 3-4000 miles & some trucks had 60,000 miles.Hard to know without history records.some were rode hard & put up wet. Good luck

My wife hates my Blazer.Say its rides like horse buggy Don't know when she ever rode in a in a horse buggy (she is a city girl).She told me it was her or the blazer I told her I would miss her.I can get another wife hard to find another Blazer in good Shape.I still got both blazer & wife.:jumpin:

Welcome aboard. Nice looking M1009 I also put in 2 battery's & my m1009 fired up.Its a good daily driver.Read up on the Doghead Mod. & other m1009 Posts lots of great info on here.Have a great day.:beer:

CFB- My m1009 is about the same. I don't think you have any issues with the transmission or the vac reg.a while back it was hard to shift to 3 found the vac hose adapter broke done away with the adapter & replaced all vac hoses ran great.look at all your vac hoses. good luck
