These trailers were manufactured to have "dump" or "tilt" capability, breakage like that is from abuse, that will not happen under normal use/load. These trailers are only rated to haul 2000lbs in them of cargo, No way that would snap like that with 2000 lbs, AND Look at that spring, where...

I really like that ramp, wish I would have found one of those when I was looking...

removing that pin is not for shipping, it wont save much if any space to "tilt" or "dump" the trailer bed, it is designed to allow for dump/tilt capability so ramps are not needed for loading, never ever seen one in a dump configuration for shipping...

unplug the "plug harness" it is all in the aluminum cover 1/2 way down the drivers side A-arm of the trailer, 2 phillips screws on top, 2 on bottom, and you can just unplg them from there..... I just tap into the 4 wires I need from there and run a 5' 4 wire connector to my civy tow vehicle...

you can use ford/dodge wheels too, the lugs will pattern up (except late model ford) if you find an offset you like better. I prefer the chebby steel wheels, as I can just hit em with black paint when the rust comes out or whatever, and nobody is looking to steal them as they look like they are...

Yeah, what he said, I had a guy trying to do same thing with a trailer I sold him, ended up just using Hummer wheels in the end
