i believe the oil pan was partially blocking the oil pickup screen. i looked and looked for this information so in case somebody is curious later....

i have a 120 gauge and sender. will replace the oil/filtes/pan this weekend. i'm quite curious about this as the engine doesn't appear to have been run hard enough since the last rebuild in '93 to knock the paint off the exhaust and shouldn't have diesel in the oil as the compensator has...
i know the high and low end but what is the spectrum range of acceptability?
i run about 60 cold idle and 15 warm idle but i can't recall what i do at certain rpms warm.....

no napa parts stores near me so i went to oreillys, advanced and auto zone.
i found ONE ****ed washer.
the auto zone match for the innermost washer is:
484-182.1
1/2"x13/16"
banjo blt washer
0 19495 84182 1
least that's what it says on the package. closest i found for the outermost was...
speaking of which, i was trying to adjust my drivers seat and seem to have screwed something up. do you think you can fix this for me?

how about some pictures then? hopefully of the ends of that particular fuel line and maybe the primary fuel filter housing without the 90 degree fitting in it.............

GL crushed the fuel line on my truck that runs from the primary filter to the IP that runs under the radiator.
it's 1/2 copper line. i planned to replace it with another from a different truck but that isn't really panning out, so....

well i got it apart this morning. there was a thin metal gasket in there. i got it all back together and this time straight.
ran it for about 15 minutes around the place, no drips but there may still be a film present, not certain, didn't clean the clamp.
might just need to go...
from just looking it would seem that there is a lip on the exhaust pipe that fits into the end of the turbo there, is that the case?
if so it does appear that it's just not seated correctly.
