Has anybody done this yet? Just a crazy Ideal I have had in the back of my head the last few days! If I could afford it I would like to get rid of the 5th wheel and just put a bed of some sort on it and call it a pickup truck.
Put my winter front on and went for a drive. My truck does not have any clips or holes for the springs, but with 2 springs on the driver side and one on the passenger side and some of the large shoelace things wrapped around the bracing and back through the holes it seems firmly mounted. Was...
I put my winter front this weekend. It made a huge difference. I was able to drive around at full speed for 20 miles with the flap closed in 28 degree weather and it never got over 190.
A bit late but I could use a working pneumatic wiper motor. I have a metal one, but it only works for a bit then only goes one way. I have had it apart and cleaned everything I could. It clicks every time it gets to either end but after a few strokes it will make it to one end and click but not...
Sweet. I am excited and scared to go. Normally when I go to Haspin my toy comes and goes on a trailer. So I don't have to worry about it being able to move at the end of the weekend. But after reading about the truck it should not have a problem making it back home! Can't wait!
I will be bringing it in an ambulance and putting the legs on it once it is there. Is there a place to set it up to keep it out of the direct sunlight and rain? This is my first year going to a SS Haspin rally so I don't know what to expect.
Somebody mentioned they are bringing electricity... Would anybody be interested if I brought a 2 player head to head pinball machine? Needs 110-120 and around 4 amps peak 1 amp idle to run it.
Correct me if I am wrong... But you can mount the second air pack any were you want as long as you run the lines to it and it is orientated in the right direction?
If it's flat I have a scanner that will scan flat part up to 1/2" thick 4'x8'. It allows me to reverse engineer stuff. But if someone can provide a 2D cad file of them I can make them from that too.
Anybody plan to go there on Friday that would like to convoy down there? I know I will have at least one ambulance with a buggy on a trailer that is going with me.
I couldn't remember if either had Diesel. Last time I was there with my Ambulance I remember there being no diesel in town and had to drive 20 minuets to get some.
With all the hills is there a fuel level that is best? I know when my tank is near full and I go downhill I get diesel outside the...
Quick question. I have been to Haspin several time but this will be my first time doing it in the Deuce. How much fuel should I have in the tank when I get there? I plan to show up Friday and leave Sunday.
I know that diesel near Haspin depends on if that one station is open or closed down, So...
That looks more like a ball joint and would not have as much travel as a heim joint. But seeing that I would think a covered heim would work fine also.
