Just for verification, did you put a volt meter on both headlights wiring, to check voltage? You would be able to move the meter common lead around to different grounding points to see if that was the culprit.

I agree here. The box stores have a huge mark-up, and if you are buying a bunch, or if you are going with any stainless, you will want to shop around to some of the industrial suppliers.

One thing I thought of is that is a pretty large bolt for a hand rivnut tool. Might find it difficult to find a tool that will go that large.
