    Bo's Deuce build

Loaded up deuce number 1 and heading to Garret's in the morning. This is a 66 Kaiser with a winch, and air assist steering. It has a dragging brake somewhere, and barely stops. Garret is going to assist me with repairing the brakes and re packing all of the berrings. I'm sure it is going to need...

Prepping aluminum MRAP rims for painting

98G is correct, I am putting them on one of my Deuces. Just got home with the wheels and tires, and it is raining, so I will have to post pictures later. I was not sure if sandblasting aluminum was a no-no or what. It would definatly be the best way to get everything including the steel nuts...

Prepping aluminum MRAP rims for painting

I am picking up my aluminum MRAP rims and tires tomorrow, and the tan paint looks pretty beat up, and the bolts look to have some rust on them. Anybody have experience prepping these rims for new paint? I would like to get these rims pretty clean and spray them with flat black paint. thanks, Bo

    Hard Tops vs Soft Top

I drove 4 hours to get a hardtop a few weeks back. It was not in the best shape, but I took it apart and am having it sandblasted now. Plan on getting it back to its glory state. Hardtops are out there, you just have to be persistent looking for one. Bo

One happy bull mastiff in a 5 ton

Nice looking dog! I have a male English Mastiff named Maximus. He is only about 10 months old, and already around 120 pounds. I would love to ride him around in my soon to be running Deuce, but I might have to help him into the cab after I put my super singles on it. Big trucks and big dogs...

    Alternator

Are there any current MV's that the 24 volt alternator will fit the same mounting bracket for the Deuce? I have 5 24 volt alternators and they have all tested bad. The guy at the shop suggested that I make a custom bracket, and purchase a newer model alternator that is still available to put...

Price for 3 multi-fuel complete engines with transmissions attached

I'm not mechanically inclined enough to go through them on my own, but hopefully will learn from Garret once we get started on my trucks. If one is sound enough, I would not mind throwing a little money in it to replace one of the LDT's. I will probably give him first dibs on anything he might...
