ok here you go...
One question; why?
if your front springs aren't sagging. I would just keep running the truck as is and just do the PMCS that you're supposed to anyways before you drive the truck...
I have a set of snow plow...
aint that true. the local AFB has a once a week 2 hour window you can look at the trucks, and half the time the guy isn't even there for his "office hours". I suppose if you have a cac, or retired id you can go look at the trucks that are on posts.
it's a wait. hopefully you bought a runner, as GP will just about try everything to get a truck running. so when they're in-op they're really in-op
ask questions, but do us all a favor and read all the TM's before you get the truck. you'll learn a lot of the truck, and the different systems...
no problem bro. Just some OCD.
Weld a nut to the end of the glow plug. that should get it unthreaded from the head, and even have enough to leverage to pry out the swollen tip. I have used the cheap labor freight flux core wire welder, and expensive diesel ran arc welders. very doable...
Please reference your opinion... In the tm...
I have ran my hmmwv on 4 glow plugs for a very long time... I think you're confusing the over volt by a burnt up coolant sensor. Or when the box goes bad and supplies voltage constantly.
Have to make sure the glow plug is completely un threaded before you use the tool. Then the sleeve of the tool should move very slowly.
Worst case is you have to pull the head... and I think that's your only option as the glow plug is still swollen and still threaded in the head.
I would leave...
the problem is that the shipping industry does not use emissions devices to clean up the air. they don't even burn diesel. They burn what ever they can get there hands on, and many times its very dirty long chain hydrocarbons. aviation is better in my opinion, but the fact is they are still...
