Didn't you add a k&n under hood? Do you have any pics?

Can someone help me find the post where someone has a K&N plumbed under the hood of an A2 truck? I saw it somewhere on here but can not seem to find it anymore. Thanks

I went to LKQ/Plunks junk yard and did some measuring on some in trucks. I found that International had some wide coolers that would fit around that radiator. Not sure on the year/model just know it was an international. I will look around for any numbers but don't think there is any.

3925453 is the Cummins part number. I bought a used intake from heavy truck yard. Here is a pic just sitting on top.

I am in process of putting a intercooler up front and also replaced intake to get rid of restrictive aftercooler design. I am plumbing a coolant filter off the 3/4 inch ports on the back of the engine that supplied the aftercooler. My question is can someone turn me on to a coolant flow diagram...

4xdesign can you measure from the expanded metal grille to the radiator for me?

Can someone get some measurements for me? My front cap and radiator are off truck right now. What is the distance between the front grille and the radiator. Trying to see what size inter cooler I can fit. If someone could measure and maybe post a couple I pics that would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah the after cooler intake is super restrictive. My buddy is starting to fab up a intake for it at his machine shop.

Im going to get measurements this weekend and go to salvage yard and look around

Thanks for input. I bought M936 for front and rear winch for my 931a2. I might just put 20k on rear to pull things on trailer. Not real sure right now. I am not interested in moving 5th wheel really. I am gonna have to add hydraulics for one winch regardless. Gonna use tc mounted pto off...

Has anyone ever installed a 45k rear winch off a M936A2 on the rear of a M931A2? Just wanting to see if there are any out there? I have to do some more precise measuring to see if it will even fit. What are your thoughts on moving the fifth wheel back? Just doing some rough measuring it looks...

Has anyone put a intercooler on their 8.3 cummins? Would you keep the after cooler and add the intercooler for extra help. If so did it bring down EGTS and how much? Any Pics? I am building 8.3 right now to put back in 931a2 and am going to tweak pump. Any input would be appreciated. Ive...
