577th Commodities and Reclamation Squadron personnel, Mr. Cook (left) and Mr. Blake remove an F-16 engine for shipment in support of the DoD's foreign military sales program (FMS).
Twenty-five former British GR9 Harriers in storage here at AMARG are undergoing reclamation for their landing gear and landing gear doors, speed brakes, antennas, and accumulators. According to a NAVSUP representative, the parts will be utilized by the U.S. Marines and the dollar value of these...
AMARG’s F-16 production team gathered for a photo with the Commander and Deputy Director in front of the first F-16 scheduled for regeneration here in support of Air Combat Command’s full-scale aerial drone program. Maintenance on F-16, Serial No. 85-1455, began today and will require...
I do believe so.
AMARG will continue to support the FSAT program's fourth generation of drones when they begin regeneration of the first F-16 Fighting Falcons for the drone program in June.
It does seem at least to me, that there is a lot of time and money spent getting this aircraft into...

For decades, the UH-1N Huey has served our country with honor. Reliability and time tested dependability is what Marine Corps history will have to say about the Iroquois.
Sadly, like all things, the elder UH-1N model’s time has come to pass. On April 24, escorted by Cherry Point, N.C., based...

I have Geico insuring my Deuce. I told the agent over the phone that it was a former MV, 2.5 Ton truck and is only for *non-commercial use*. They added it to my existing policy as a 1966 Kaiser 2.5 Ton Truck.
I might be able to make it for part of the day Sunday, have to get a move permit for the day(s) since mine is currently in non-op status. I would of gone to the TDS event this past weekend but it conflicted with a prior engagement.
Question.. How much does the bed itself weigh? I'm trying to decide what I need to lift the stock bed off my Deuce... If I need to rent a forklift..etc
Fry's, NAPA, Best Buy, Hooters, Walmart, Home Depot, Regal Movies,
They are all within a five mile radius of each other.. some in the same shopping center
As it happens, I tend to drive a little further to the NAPA Hub store as this one supplies all the local ones. The plus side is.. its on the same street as Fry's Electronics.
Has anyone thought of using an electro-hydraulic power assist setup?
Having the electro-pump provide pressure for a steering ram.
One advantage I can immediately see is that you can mount the pump literally anywhere since all it needs is battery power. A dash switch could be used to manually...
Intent in this case doesn't matter.

Good luck on suing.. the law is on their side and its quite clear. If you read the data plate attached inside the cab, you will note that it reads " Truck, CARGO: 2½ Ton". As much as I wish it didn't..it meets the California legal definition of commercial vehicle...
