Anyone ever payed attention to the operating temp of this transmission? I was towing an m925a1 yesterday and it got up to around 200 degrees. Is that the average temp that they run at? The tm says 40-225. But it just sounds hot to me! Any help would be appreciated!!
I usually use wd40 spray the hose down so it will slide all the way on the pipe. be sure you are using the correct oring to! they tend to be silicone when it comes to coolant. that connection is famous for leaking, dirt and other debris get in there and cause all kindsa pitting and what not...
Anyone know the size of the hydro lines on these units? Need to know wether they are typical jic quick disconnect or pipe thread want to make up some lines!
anyone have a mk48 hitch they want to let me borrow? the one i am speaking about is the pintel hitch that bolts to the rear unit that is used to tow it without the front power unit. or maybe a line drawing of the the plate that bolts to it? thanks guys!!

hetts are cool trucks. but they are a dedicated truck heavy haul only way to job specific. the m920 is a better choice for all around use. you can move flatbeds and lowboys with minimal modifications. however...... buy a hett and shorten it up a bit?? that would be one heck of a haul truck!!! $1...
didint do an inpection. i was gonna throw nj equipment in transit tags on it. if i had my tractor ready to go i would zip over there hookup and haul it. i know the glad hands are broken. looks to be in good shape!!
ya the shift points are up there!! I like driving the truck kinda reminds me of the way the hummers drive. gotta change the trans fluid to atf tho. mine still has motor oil in it!! kinda got put on the back burner with all the toys i gotta fix!!
3 days I drove back with my boss he kept making me stop. it ran real good!! the EGTs were super high tho. idk what the solution is for that. we removed the exhaust the other day and it seemed to help alot with the high egts. i know the filter setup is really restrictive aswell. it ran 65 on the...
