I hastily removed the battery switch on the dash of my m931a2 without marking which wires go to which terminal on the switch, the switch is only marked withA,B,C and D. Does anyone know which wire #s go to which terminal or where i can find this info?thx
i just took a few minutes to read the Rules & Regulations section posted on Rausch Creeks website, this is a must read for EVERYONE who is thinking about organizing or attending the next one. Rule #1, Cell phone #'s are a must
It was my 1st time and I had a absolutely great weekend at Rausch Creek also. It was great to learn what my m931 was capable of, these machines are really incredible. I met a lot of great people and wanted to thank Ricky for pretty much doing the repairs to my truck (without me asking, he just...
Thanks for the reply, I still havent been able to find time to get it apart, I have 2 other tractors and a cargo which have put this truck on the back burner, once I get to working on it I will post anything I find out
I used an injector from another truck that was in running condition, when I swapped them out the other truck ran as it should so I figured the injector was not the problem. I think that I cracked the line before I did the injector swap and there was fuel getting to the injector, Is that what...
Thanks for the input, I am a little short on time, and knowledge of taking the motor apart. Maybe the idea of parting out is jumping the gun. I would love to get it fixed and keep the truck. I will work on it the next chance I have and see what I can find out.
I havent changed any fluids yet, that was the plan before the knocking started. I did check levels which were all fine. I wont be able to work on the truck again for another week or two. I'll drain the oil and see what I find, and take off the valve cover. What should I be looking for once the...
I have a M931A2 which I bought a few months ago from GL. It was overhauled at Ft Riley(not sure of the date) and is showing 1250 on the odometer. I believe the mileage is accurate based on the condition of the interior and rest of the truck. I drove the truck home and put another 150 miles on...
I have a 931a2 with the 8.3, It suddenly started knocking pretty bad the last time it was started. It ran fine the previous start. The knocking seems to be coming from the rear top of the motor but somewhat hard to tell. I plan to check it with a infrared thermometer to see which cylinder may...
Well it was a no go on the tractor, I was able to get it to fire on the ether shot but it still wasnt getting fuel. I tried priming without results. I cleaned all battery terminals but the ignition was still sporadic and finally would not crank at all, nothing when the battery switch was...
I won a tractor that was listed as "does not start". During preview it would crank but not start, right side tank was out of fuel, changed selector to left side which had fuel and fired on first crank with shot of ether, fired and ran for 3-4 seconds on 2nd attempt. stopped and did the priming...
Well, Mission accomplished. 750 miles in about 18 hours, no issues. It was smooth on the smooth roads and rough as **** on the rough roads. Ran great the whole time. I guess wearing ear plugs is a no brainer! I could have used a small flashlight since no interior lights except dash. I...
It was advertised as an A2, It is a gov refurb that the seller bought in Jan and used for what he needed it for and is now selling. Seems to be in good overall shape, he put 2800 miles on it since Jan and has not had any issues with it. Pictures are good and truck is fairly clean as compared...
Thanks all, buying from private seller. I will download and read whatever manuals I can before I pick up. Picking up in Kentucky and driving to lower Delaware.
Hello everyone,
1st post here. I bought and am picking up a 1986 BMY M923A2. I am flying in and driving about 700 miles home. Any suggestions as to what to expect, items to bring or whatever I may not be thinking about? Any items I should pick up "just in case"?
I plan to do 2 days of driving...
