Any one ever seen this tag on a SEE truck? Can't remember which of the 6 wrecks in Pineville had it. Maybe a loader manufacturer other than Schmidt? https://swifoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Palm-Industries-FINAL.pdf
I SEE a Pull-A-Part yard! They will probably go to some local scrap guy for $25 apiece!!! I'm going to keep an eye on them. I might also call the facility and see if we can get the contact info for whoever does but them.
FYI, there are 6 FLU419's on Govliquidation.com to be sold in the next couple of days out of Pineville, LA. That's Louisiana for y'all out there in the Midwest. They are in ROUGH condition. The rats there must be huge!!!! Honestly, they give "parts trucks" a bad name. Also looks like they...
Looks like I have a main seal leaking on the front of the transmission. Since you have yours completely disassembled, how bad of a job do you think I would be looking at (and how long)?
yeah, I looked at mine again today, and they seem to be where they are supposed to be. The bottom one is recessed so it doesn't shear off (as easily) when the bucket is curled and rested on the ground.
Moon another note, the 54" farm Jack will require modification. Not sure when, how, or...
Well I'm sure you can get a couple new holes drilled and threaded before dark... And if I had an HMMH, I wouldn't need a proper jack to remove the front end loader. Ie, I must need an HMMH.
Luckily, we didn't break the bolt. The barb broke off the spherical fitting (see pic below). I went to one specialty hardware store and 4 auto parts places today, and everyone just gave me a blank stare when I showed it to them. Of course, they always ask "what year, make, and model" so the...
Today was pretty busy. We relplaced the engine oil and the fuel filters on one truck. In doing so, we managed to break off the barb on the banjo fitting. I think it's a 14mm bolt. Any suggestions on the best place to pick one up? I included a picture below of a similar bolt and fitting.
We we...
Today we are going to hopefully get to a point where we can comfortably and safely drive one of the 3 SEE trucks around the neighborhood. Might even dig up the neighbors yard (they are out of town).
We did discover more damage underneath from the dreaded forks. Muffler and exhaust pipe scraped...
I'm going to include keyless entry and a remote start FOB on that Benz keychain! Have you see the $100+ milled stainless Mercedes emblem that EI has that will pop into the middle of the steering wheel?
Oh, I agree that the emblem would look tacky! However, I'm thinking about appealing to a certain demographic of prospective buyers, ie status sensitive doctors with deer camps or farms. Call me a sell out, but I've got to recoupe some of my investment so I can buy more stuff!! If I stick an...
