How should I go about troubleshooting the percentage load gauge. I've tapped on it and loosened the connections and retightened.
I had to make about 20 new connections when I got this unit because a rat had been living inside and chewing. Everything is working except the % load gauge...
Got the 803 hooked up to the house for the last hour and have a few questions.
First off my percentage load meter isn't working so I'll have to figure that out.
I've trimmed my voltage and hertz.
When I check amps across L1 and L3 I get 42amp on one leg and 36-38 on the other.
Is this normal...
Yes sir I'm familiar with electicity but I'm not an expert hence the reason I'm asking. I wire stuff around the house all the time but again no expert.
My swim lane is on the mechanical side.
Thanks
I appreciate all y'all's help so far.
I have my set up and running and I'm ready to hook it to the house. I just need to know what position my single phase selector should be and also how the wireing going out to my house should look like coming off the generator lugs.
Thanks, Jason
I'll be doing a load test soon before hooking up to my house.
The question is which way is better or does it matter?
Run one wire on a 120v leg out to 4 outlets and another wire on the other 120v leg to 4 outlets and use heaters and such or to hook up on the 220v and test it that way or does it...
Ok Thanks.
Is it best to run two 120V circuits out with multiple plugs to put heaters on or test it on 220V with something or does it matter?
Just want to test it before putting it on my house.
Then I want to buy your board once it's proven so I can remotely monitor it.
Thanks, Jason
Thanks Kloppk.
Can you run it with just the fuse mod until the Veristor comes in or is it best to wait for both?
Wanting to do a load test as soon as I can.
Thanks so much, Jason
Is there any other mods besides the fuse and holder and the veristor that I need to do?
The reason I ask is because I seen where you had showed a picture in another thread that looked to be a mod that didn't look like this mod.
Maybe I'm just confused.....lol.
Thanks, I found the fuse holder and fuse and it will be her next week as well as an upgraded fuel tank drain bulkhead fitting I got from Colt.
Having trouble getting the veristor quick some I'm looking for another source for that.
Well fired her up and she sounds good.
Temp switch isnt working so I need to figure that out.
I appreciate all y'all's help and I'm sure I'll lean on yall in the future.
Thanks, Jason
