Depends on which trailer and how heavy. Most of these were not designed for 70mph use so you need to under inflate the tires a bit to keep them from exploding. At least that is what I was told.
Not Friday....it was dark and pouring rain when I got to my buddy's house. I'll be back over that way next weekend (he lives about 45 mins away) working on stuff. Sorry I couldn't get them this weekend. I had the opportunity to get two M37 engines and I had to spend time to do that.
Well, it could go for as much as $3K, it's hard to say. Depends on how many are bidding against you.
If you want to jump into ownership with a running truck in decent shape, you'll have to pony up the cash.
Bid what you can afford and if you don't win at least you'll still have the cash to...
Hi Butch,
Russell's 211 is still chugging along. He does all the parades he can in it and brings it to some local shows. I'm trying to bribe him into bringing it to more show by splitting the gas with him. We'll see if it works or not!
I hope things are well on your end!!
Does it run? Is it complete? Winch or no winch?
I know of a running truck a few miles from my house which needs a paint job and has a dent or two and the guy wants $2500 for it.
I've seen those over on G741 and they are very nice and you did good putting them up. But I can't print them and am required to join to download them which I am reluctant to do since I have enough spam already! :-)
This is what I plan to do to mine. I recently got to, very briefly, drive a m37 for the first time (mine hasn't been mobile since I got it) and the stock cushions were too thick.
Reasonable max speed is 50mph, gas mileage...roughly 6mpg or so. These engines are not balanced like modern units so there is a rpm limit.
I'm 6'3" and it is a little cramped behind the wheel, but nothing like the sardine can 'esque WWII, M38A1 or 151 jeeps.
I have always wanted a jeep and...
I haven't decided what I am going to do with mine. I was looking for an M101 when I found this one. It'll be convenient to haul stuff to shows with. I may put an air compressor and some tools in there in case a repair is needed.
Mostly it's just cool right now!
I paid $550 for this trailer and I think I did ok.

I drove with it behind my F150 at 65mph and it seemed to do ok. I may bring this one to Aberdeen this year to haul stuff in, not to sell...
RE: GA MVPA Raly
I know those of us from the Dixie Division had a good time. I enjoyed meeting some of the folks from here, especially Joe who had his Marine M37B1 there for me to photograph.
I spent too much money on stuff but that's always a danger!
If anyone has an M37 aircleaner assembly for sale at the meet, that'd be something I'd be interested in too.
I'm hoping someone will bring a stock M37 for me to photograph for more references. :)
