Thanks to a tax cheque, and a helpful backload, the Goat arrived at my door; it then got a dose of performance nerves and refused to start for half an hour. Blocked the cul-de-sac up with a low loader for half hour and all the neighbours got a good look.

Been three import batches if I recall correctly.
About 8 came in to NSW with two then being re-exported to NZ and PNG.
Two I think came in to WA along with some tanks ex-middle East.
One private import to Melbourne.
I know where four are, have seen pics of another in rural NSW somewhere.
Finally found, and pulled the trigger on, an M561 in Oz. working on getting it trucked up from southern pastures for my next R&R...
Anyone know now where I might acquire tractor canvas from, hopefully before the wet season...

Werner Meisterburg used to run around the desert areas in his... should be some vids around... i think i have one stashed somewhere of one wheeling with a couple of jeeps in rocky terrain as well.... To be honest, not sure i'd call them a rock crawler

Don't have particular model recommendations, however I'd recommend aviation or off road racing sources, obviously they both also deal in intercom systems and radio feeds.

that's the sorta beasty you want, make sure it's a match for your tube and also make sure the body thread matches your current tap point.
They're a pretty common brand so you should be able to get some face to face help locally.

Ok mate, I'll ask.
Reckon you should be able to run it into a brake shop and they could whip you up a replacement, or if you're handy with the benders, retube it yourself and replace the fittings with Parker or Swagelock to suit.
