Talk to 6x6guy. He is closest to you and has a few different running variations of the deuce. He will also be able to get you parts. I go down to your area quite a bit too. My truck is singled out and very close but not road capable yet. 6x6guy also knows quite a few people w/deuces in your...
I also found a couple pictures from the beginning of the project. One is the M35A2 before I started w/it. The other is my 109 next to a tank before I started all of the work on it.
The 3 rims in the first picture are going to get blasted. I wanted to have one to mount while they were gone. I need to correct an earlier post...the paint I used on the painted rim was permatex plasti-dip. I like it so far, very flexible and not too porous. I used a black semi gloss on the...
I guess the driver just has to decide what they are going to use the truck for. I have not had the chance to drive an A3. I purchased my 109 and A2 based on my list of what I wanted from my truck. I also took about a year to weigh everything out and do research. I don't mind stocking up on parts...
Painted 1 rim after I cleaned it up. I cleaned up my tires and picked up my bottom plates and nuts for my rear axle/ubolts. Ballistic fabrication in AZ has some perches that will work well with my 3" wide springs. The rest of the rims are going to get grit blasted. If I like the rim I painted...

Hey John did you decide not to go under the bumper? That is pretty slick above the winch. I will have to try something like that on mine. It should help keep deer at bay too. You do nice work when you have free time. Too bad money and free time usually don't mix! it takes skill to have both at...
If the price is right see if you can get the seller to measure the bolt pattern for you. I assume you want to go w/bigger tires? The width would be good to know as well. Are they 2 pc rims or will you need to have them mounted and balanced? The A3 rims are pretty good. You may want to search the...
I think those ratings are accurate, but they are probably conservative. I've seen tow bars do amazing things. I suppose you could put some type of fold down or detachable "landing gear" if it was a concern. It is without a doubt a great setup and a nice truck. Good to see some pictures John!
