i was thinking about a dryer and also an automatic oiler. I don't think the oiler is completely necessary, but I also don't think it would hurt anything. What's y'all's opinion? I have a setup that I bought for a big air compressor that I was going to purchase and never did. If I could figure...
I'm in electronics, so it's in my abilities, just haven't messed with this particular type of connector. Here are the pictures I just took, do you think it is salvageable?
My j-tube came off relatively easy and the end with the o-ring came out easily. I got a little lube in it, but probably not enough to make a difference.
Here's something weird I noticed: when I was pushing down on the brake pedal, I noticed that the T fitting, where the vent for the master...
Is the harness from eastern surplus that far off? My harness shorted out at the main lighting connector and several wire are burnt in half less than an inch from the main connector.
Pulled the rear wheels off of the deuce and found that there are no brakes on the back of my truck. I looked through the inspection plates, I haven't disassembled the assembly yet.

I'm in the process of working through my brake system on my 67' deuce, and I have a couple questions regarding the airpack. I tried to search before asking, but couldn't find these specific things:
1. Oiling the air pack? I've heard several people talk about using air oil to oil it, but where do...
I got it all reassembled, except for putting the tire back on at 2:30am this morning. Thanks for the help and TM's, if it wasn't for them, i would still be figuring it out. The axle seals were in good shape, so I replaced just the inner seal, which was hard, and both bearings. It was interesting...
That's a lot of information.. I appreciate it all. The name of the shop is Big D Brake and Clutch off of 287 and Rosedale in Fort Worth, TX. . They turned my drum for $30 and relined my shoes for $16 a shoe. Seems like a decent deal. They can also do clutches and parking brake shoes.
