:grd: I always found a old breaker bar without the ball worked good. Good fit and if it didnit work with a some pressure and a few chose words, I used a little heat. Seems like some Dumb@$$ mechanics used to use lock tight on them... Just my opinion
Dang it was close I bid up to $1850 last night and was high biddder,:mrgreen: but it was 15 hours b4 it ended..Oh well I could not have looked him in the face if I picked it up for that
I am do not have never that luck wih the 3 dueces I bought....Sure aint gonna spend the money on Hawkers for them..I do not have a unlimited checkbook like the government does.LOL:drool:

I could not resist to good of a buy...I called him and bought it for $5000 cash...took 50 $100 dollars bills and some change put it in a big envelope ....he said he would drive it to me tomorrrow...also siad would give me a free gas card good for $5000 of fuel..If I would pay a small...
But if you get the short shaft you can part out save parts that are common failures and sell the rest to others on here what we don't buy trade or barter you can sell for scrap...but dont sell good part that way please
Hey I can't complain. Did good on mine but when and looked it over. They did let me charge batteries to get it started...take a can of ether...most glowplugs systems are shot or at least one part of them...As the old saying goes don't buy a pig in a poke

Thanks for the help, spent alot of time in these when was in military...I would love to have one for 6 wheeling nothing serious no...
I also found that spraying connections down with WD-40 as part of a look over or service saves alot of work later.. ( No I do not own stock in any lubricate company):)
