Well there are many factors involved(don't answer these they are just things to consider):
What did originally pay for it?
How much money have you put into it?
(I would not expect much in the way of time reimbursement especially since you have the IP issues)
How much do you think it will cost...
Hate to say it but even back when I drove these around as a private (88-90) what you are describing is typical. We always had to fool with techniques to close them, slamming them seems to work more often then not. I don't believe it is a seal problem, mine are in decent shape still but I...
Walt and Phyllis,
I was a pleasure meeting you as well, I was meaning to send you a message since on Monday I invited another army family over for Dinner and finally got around to cooking the Elk Steak you gave me at the rally. We both thought it was excellent, so thanks again! Merry...
Mike,
I can help with troubleshooting and cabling/connections just keep in mind that I was an operator and antenna guy mainly, I was not a maintainer so as long as we don't have to crack them open I'll be glad to help.

I was pretty good at fabricating field expedient antennas too, Jungle 292's, Longwires, inverted V's, doublet GRA-50 stuff, bi-directional, uni-direction, and Omni.

My first MOS in the Army was a 31C Single Channel Radio Operator(GRC 106), during my first tour I was reclassified to 31D Mobil Subscriber Systems Operator. Even after I re-enlisted to go 11B Infantryman I always found my way into Scouts or Long Range...

Nice, I looked at your post count and mistakenly assumed you were new. I only hope to have half that many trucks at some point! We will have to link up sometime (once I get back to Columbus, GA that is).

On closer examination you are probably right. I took a closer look on another computer instead of my laptop and yeah the console slopes down at an angle towards cupholders too. However here is the link to what I thought it was at first glance: (look at post # 34)...
Pretty sure the center console is just an ammo can (20mm perhaps?). There are some guys that have made some real nice center consoles on here with pads/cup holders out of ammo cans.
*edit see below post for correction
