what is "CBC"? I'm picking up a Bobbed Deuce with the M105 bed and I'll be using the truck for work and need to secure my belongings in the back. I have a M105 with the bows and tarp, but what was looking for something more secure since the truck would be sitting days at a time at an airport...
"out of adjustment", adjusted about 3 turns on the end eyelet, then reassembled. It was so weird, because I was driving and constantly shifting, then SUDDENLY there was no clutch. I never considered, something so simple as adjusting. I assumed something broke... I'm SO glad it was an easy fix
This is what we found, a piece of all thread. I would like to find the original turnbuckle to easily adjust the clutch, if someone knows where I can find one, please PM me
YEAAAAA, I'm and running... I finally got to leave the rig and head to town. Brought a buddy along to help me take a look. We discovered the turnbuckle on the adjusting arm had been replaced with a piece of all thread. My clutch wasn't making contact. We pulled one of the yokes off, turned the...
last week if you were heading up Amb Caff by yourself, I saw you. I was excited, wow someone's got a deuce in Lafayette :) I was in a lifted RED 85 K5 Blazer with 40's
Guys, I appreciate all the advice and help. We're broke down out here on the rig, so I'm stuck here until we start drilling and I can sneak away to get a better look at the clutch.
WOW, thanks for all the help, this is great. I feel so much better having a better starting point. Once we start drilling, I'll be able to start to read through everyone's help and advice. THANKS AGAIN, feels good to have so much support. - Ray
I flew in last night into Minot, ND, hopped in my truck (5-Ton) and started to get my groceries for the month before heading to work (drilling rig). I was making a turn and went to shift down and the clutch all of a sudden went to the floor with no resistance (but does spring back like normal)...
I followed someone's post on here and did the same thing, I leave my 5 ton at an airport when I fly home so I wanted to to be able to secure it (somewhat). I took some pics and I have them in one of my albums. I took a picture of the bag the parts came in and where I ordered them from, they were...
I just finished the opposite :) I have (2) M1008 and (1) reg K5 Blazer. On my civy K5, I used the "Peel & Seal" product from Lowe's (6"x25'). I covered from up inside the dash, door panels, passenger-driver's section. I had removed the OEM cardboard side boards for the rear of the cab and...
Geico told me NO on my M818, they transferred me to the commercial division, I have them for my home, and 4 vehicles (including a M1009). The lady over the phone told me "...that truck is too big". I'm working in North Dakota and was looking for liability, figure I'd drive maybe 200 miles a...
thankx, for the pics. I have a M818/Deuce Bed with 53" and have been trying to find the best solution for getting in and out since this is my work truck (toy)
I'm also VERY interested in this, I just purchased an M818 through MRE Depot and had it shipped up here where I work in ND. The truck will sit on a drilling rig for about 21 days at a time (where I could plug it it) but I fly home to Louisiana for about a week. During that week off the truck...
I was missing some of the bulb holders in my cluster so I had everything pulled out before I ran to the store. I cranked it up and everything ran fine, headlights worked fine, didn't check the turn signals. I also took the time while I had it apart to powder coat the metal frame flat black...
