I was looking back through sewerzuk's build and came aross a picture that DeucesWild11 posted on a 4" ram air scoop. I did not have any luck tracking down a buyer but a buddy did for me and I thought I would pass this inforamtion on. The product is from Donaldson Filteration Solutions...
Thanks doghead, I'll drill and tap, since I have all the tools out already from trying to install the EGT. Funny thing, apparently I have a hole in my coveralls, the tap for the EGT fell out somewhere outside in the snow (North Dakota), now I get to make a run to the closest town to buy...
BOOST Placement: is this it, in the yellow circle ?
I am also looking for an answer... Is this the spot, in the yellow circle? In that spot I have a fitting going to my Kat's ether start that came on my truck. I pulled the 1/8" fitting there and it looks like a sensor... I'm not sure to...
I am a dedicated user of Ram-Mount products. This is the mount I use, for me the winters are way to cold to use a suction cup on the windshield. My other favorite is using the stock mount attached to a Harbor Freight Magnet. I've used the magnet mount setting right on the axles driving and...
It did not fit my M818 :( I ordered 2, hoping it would. NO mods needed for the deuce. Remove the pintle, and the bumperette bolts, slide this hitch plate in. Then, secure back with the pintle and bolts... A little wiggling was necessary, maybe due to mine being bobbed. Its nice outside this...
For my situation, I used RUST-OLEUM FOREST GREEN in a spray can
I was just trying to get a one color coat on before winter... I think I bought EVERY case of spray paint from Minot to Dickinson, ND to finish mine. :) Now that I'm bringing my toys home, it'll be the time to do it right.
I picked up (2) 6TL from a NAPA dealership here in North Dakota (Watford City) yesterday. I had to pay $233.77 each, another $24.00 each for core deposit, battery acid $17.03. The acid they gave me was enough to only fill 1 battery. So it's drive back the 45 miles today... the total cost for...
Also keep in mind, this will do 12vdc or 24dc, so you can charge batteries individually or all together. They sell extra pigtails, so you can easily plug the charger into different vehicles. SIGN UP FOR THE EMAIL SUBSCRIPTION, then wait for the 50% off sale. Since November, I've seen the...
NOCO genius G26000 is my favorite truck charger
Without a doubt my favorite battery chargers are from NOCO genius. I use the G26000 on both my M35A2 and my M818. I have both mounted on the outside of the truck tied into the batteries. I have had batteries I was about to toss and the G26000...
Everyone, THANK YOU! I've been driving around with my panel off because I would have to reach in the panel and push my window up. Due to the panel being off, my left leg would go numb due to driving in the -20 weather up here. The other morning I had a foot of snow inside the cab from the...
Dale wow that was a quick turn over' , you got rid of (2) CUCV in a short time... Its destined Roy you to have something BIGGER :-) I appreciate all the help the other night with helping you helping me load up that M1009 body. Now what you're going to do with the extra parts (hint-hint) :-)
72 Bobbed, daily driver in North Dakota oil fields
I picked this Bobbed Deuce from George Foster, over in IA. I had the CBC shipped to him and he was kind enough to have it installed for me. Since then, new rims from av8or. Rubber horse stall mats in the back of the CBC. Installed 24v-120ac...
Jake, my bobbed deuce is my daily driver up here (Williston, ND) and i use one of those Mr. Heater Portable Buddy Heater ($89). It gets hot enough i have to crack the back window. The windows do frost up a lot, with the heater on, for a quick fix i picked up two of those Walmart 12v defrosters...
LOL, I'm about to do the same thing, I'm working up in North Dakota and bought a 5 ton / Bobbed deuce and trailer while I"m up here... haven't told the wife about either one of them. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going to park these when I get them home to Louisiana. :)
