I was just thinking of that, airbags all around. Its amazing I think of it and Clinton makes it a reality. Hey Clinton if you ever need a brain storming session for some new concepts send me a pm. Keep up the good work and as soon as the state lottery check clears I'll take it. Just need to...
Thanks Gringletaube for the drawing, I assume the backspacing is the 8.25 in. measurement. Again thanks and I would love to see more pics of your rig. The avatar pic doesn't do it justice.
it looks like the 175.00 price is for the those monster trucks when you see them on the trailer without the larger tires they use for thier normal operation.
I did a search on SS for Red Barn Customs L.L.C to see if anyone else had dealt with these rims to see if they were worth looking into. The price seemed to be reasonable.
First I did a search on Red Barn Customs L.L.C and nothing came up. Soo I just recently purchased some 14.5x20 tires that came off a m35a3 was looking for aftermarket rims. I came accross this wedsite and they have custom rims. My question to all is has anyone purchased these and if so what was...

Sounds good I will put that on my calender. On a side note is there going to be another Open house at Camp Edwards this year. Last year was a blast and it was great to see how a camp is setup. Had to explain alot to the wife but she eventually got it.
I too am in the planning stages for my m109a3 conversion, your story and pics are a great inspiration to myself and others on this website. Thank you for going the extra to pass along to the next generation the ability to get thier hands dirty and be part of something. It was also nice to see...
OK, I have failed at searching....what are the interior dimensions of an m109 box?? The exterior ones are easy to find. Is it safe to subtract the wall thickness, say, 2 or 3 inches (what is the wall thickness?).
I believe W-7.5ft by 12ft interior dimensions. The walls are 1.5ins thick. Roughly...
I was heading to New Haven CT. and traveling southbound on 95 and I see an m109a3 with Mass plates heading south around 10:30pm around Branford,CT. I was just wondering if it was a fellow SS member and would like to meet up with them and see your 109. I have one and I don't see many around. let...
5"10 350# I got a box in my 109 which is the reason I bid on it after doing some test fitting on the preview. I fit fine but I will say that it keeps me in check. I tell my wife I watch what I eat because I have to loose weight and she say's oh to better your health and I say no so I can drive...
I particularly like the mast mount, if you could shed some details on that. Over all nice setup, it looks like either field day or a weekend hr qso party. Do tell.
Well sounds like other than the thermostat it's running pretty good. I PM papacom and by his reply it doesn't seem to hard to wire up a ham radio to the vic-1 which is probably the way I'll go. Sounds like you got quite the selection of mil-radio's I look foward to your progress. I'm going the...
Looking good , has anyone incorporated a ham radio into the vic-1 intercom setup? or is this even possible. Any input would be appreciated. Keep the pics coming I'm getting some reel good idea's. I really like the fat man grab handles. I will definitly be installing those. keep up the good...
