Why would any oil company want to drill new wells and build new refineries when they are getting $109+ for a barrel of oil and the demand has no end in sight?
ExxonMobil's profits for 2005 was 36 Billion. They have absolutely no incentive to make fuel affordable. They will only sell for 100%...
If you are going to do much off roading the best thing you could do is get rid of those road tires and step up to some XL's or XML's This isn't the first time a set of 53" XZL's has left a driver in need of a tug!
I just pulled Lane's M105 Wood shop trailer home, about 80 miles with an '07 Dodge 1500 w/V8. No problems what so ever. Lunette in the stock position. I used the draw bar with the adjustable plate on front to raise the pintle up about 6" GL guy lowered the trailer on to the pintle with a...
Just picked up one (M105) for Lane at Wright Pat today. The one with the giant saw.
I also caught sight of a M101A1 in some weeds with a bunch of junk civi trailers the other day. I need to see if that one is for sale!
I believe LED's don't care if it is 12 or 24 volts. Also I can't believe no one commented on that link above. All sorts of 24 to 12 volt converters. It seems like there is some one on here asking about hooking up 12 volt items every couple of weeks. May be a good source for a converter...
Kinda glad to hear all this. Good t know my trans is working just fine! No syncros out. My trans seems to have a very wide stance, I mean shift pattern. Is this typical? Would a new shifter fork top solve this problem (if there is one). Can the late style NP420 top (extra reverse lever) be...
Looks like a variation of the M1061A1 Trailer with a GVW of 10,000 LBS. which is exactly what I was looking for. I would rather go with too much capacity than not enough. Easier on the the trailer. Probably not feasible though because I am sure it has air actuated breakes. I would have to...
So what is the tare weight of this trailer? Every one is saying " better use a 5 ton" and maybe the photo is deceiving, but it doesn't look like it is 40 foot long or made of 18" I-Beams. I just on occasion have been known to need a similar trailer for hauling various items, be it OD or non OD...
I need to get my 48 Willys home from Stewart's Draft VA to Any where in Ohio Just wanted to see if any one was going that route before I make the trip. PM to let me know.
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: NP 200 T case.
Call me biased, cynical or just plain stupid. I don't care. I just want to know who, other than those that have burnt their NP200 up from loss of oil, has ever destroyed a NP200 by over powering it or running it thru a drive train that was just too...
RE: This can
And how about the price of anti-freeze lately? About a yeat ago I could pick up a gallon at Wally World for under $4.00. Now it is nearly $8.00 and name brand is $10.00+ Soon you will have to get a home equity loan to flush your cooling system
I know the M37 designation is 3/4 ton, but I can't help but believe that when the M715 Kaiser Jeep went into production to replace it, a realistic correction was made when the 5/4 ton designation was given to it. Put the dump bed on it (XM708) and dual rear wheels make a lot of sense. Probably...
RE: GL
I have sold 3 vehicles on eBay. None of them went to the highest bidder, rather the second or third highest. I am also quickly learning that eBay is no place to sell a cell phone.
With the Non OD paint job and the fancy vinyl seat covers, just switch it over to 12V and I am sure you could get at least $10,000 out of it if you get in a pinch! No, wait, that only applies to 715's
