Is the only padding for a hmmwv the piece that goes by the seatbelt or is there some that attaches to the A pillar as well? I keep seeing A pillar padding for sell but I'm wonder if that goes inside the A beam and acts as insulation instead of padding for your head
I didn't think you really wanted one and traded them all off. Sorry. Actually I do have one that is bent that you can have for free if you want. Not sure if you can fix it or not
Found several brackets and plates scattered through my HMMWV and am curious what they are. I figured out the one at the bottom of the pic is a steering column support but not sure about the rest. Checked the steering column after I figured it out and noticed that there wasn't one missing but one...
About to install high back seats next week. Keeping a small water tight box under it is a good idea for important papers. I think you could make a good one with a radio shelf but they are a little pricey and would still need a decent amount of work to make it very useful as a center console...
Post up your pics of what you guys are using as your "glove box" for important papers etc. I saw a pic of someone using an ammo can but am hoping to find some more creative ideas that store more stuff. Maybe some type of medical chest could work well ? Also my hmmwv has 20 and 25 tp stenciled...
