The owner say riding the bike with the armour on gets interesting and bloody hardwork rofl He says its only any good on the flat like riding around airfields etc
He's not brave enough yet to find out what the new top speed would be, think he's more worried about stopping without falling off :lol:

With armour , gun , ammo , gun spares box and counter balance weight now the machine weighs over 600 lbs top speed now ?? mph.

In 2005 we acquired a Triumph 3HW from a batch repatriated from Greece and as this shares many of the same parts it was decided to covert it a 3SW model , and the second Bren carrier was born.

Ive tried the keyed mech and no joy, thought this woud be a quick simple job :sad: I think it must of been formed in the factory as I cant see any way of getting it out. I expect they changed the whole unit if it was damaged rather than rebuild ???

Update, Checked the wiring, no problems there, so have borrowed a swith and it has done it again yet so hopefull I have solved the problem.
