Those chains look nice. I was watching something that was "sealed bid", I wanted to see what it went for. When the auction ended, they just up and vanished. The GL website is pretty convoluted if you want to do research on stuff like that. Sometimes if you bookmark a specific page, you can view...
The label "Trans Oil" belongs to the gauge beneath it, the light is Over speed. There are no lights on the dash that flash other than ABS and Over Speed.
Is it the yellow "overspeed" light on the dash that is blinking? The ones on the shifter column flashing in red sound like the CTIS system, as others have said. The overspeed light and CTIS are linked, if your going faster than the tire pressure you have selected via CTIS, the yellow light will...
I just got this 14" OPT7 combo light for Christmas, my plan is to mount it to the grab handle in center of the hood of my M923A2. I'll post back when it's done, the light itself looks very nice, I just ordered their switch and relay setup to go with it because the reviews seem good and it looks...
If you contact a local audiologist, you can get custom molded ear plugs with speakers in them. I get custom molded w/o speaker for use on my motorcycle and they are comfortable for 10+ hours a day for weeks. We use David Clark in fire trucks and they work fine, I don't think they would be...
Regular army helped me with my last pickup, no GL on site. The army guy was great to work with, the GL guy couldn't be bothered to email my paid in full invoice until I was actually strapping the M105 to my trailer. Despite several phone calls over the five days between auction close and my pick...
I bought this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HHT9FL2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 adapter to power my phone and other stuff, it says it's good for 24v in and 12v out. I haven't installed it yet, and am not sure I'm going to connect to 24v. Once I lop off the plug and set it...
Did mine today. Took about ten minutes, I just snipped the eyelets off the fused connector that came with the NOCO Genius 7200 charger, and replaced the ends with crimp on connectors to fit the spade terminals in the plug I had. A little left over cord insulation to give the strain relief...
The link in post #9 also has multiple styles of plugs available. Some prewired and some like the one I chose, with common connectors on the other side of the NATO plug.
I just got my NATO pin-plug today, and my charger should be here Friday. I went with the GEISLV-SR plug from these guys for $35, and the NOCO Genius G7200 charger.
I put in a Haldex Air Dryer from Those Military Guys, and flipped the lunette on my newly acquired M105 to 5 ton height. The trailer work was much more difficult than the air dryer.
Took it out for a little test drive and exercised my transfer case and front axle since I haven't ever used them...
I have a similar version for my little tractor, but it's too low to use correctly like yours. For moving it into my building I just hooked it with my quick hitch. I'll be pulling it the woods with a JD7320, most likely. My little lawn tractor move it fine empty, but would be dangerous loaded.
Looked at the trailer today, and the handle is broken. The adjuster is broken off the internal part, so it doesn't actuate the linkage to the brake. The linkage moves and I can hear the brake moving, so that's good. Ordered a NOS handle off fleabay, should be good to go.
Camp Dodge staff was great, they are straight up Army guys. The GL guy had some... issues getting my invoice emailed. GL is not onsite, so the Army guys handle the actual load out and want it to go well for you. My M923 has been awesome, I got a creampuff that has needed very little. I drove it...
Yes, the first picture was right after they set it on the trailer. I ended up moving it a bit more to the rear, and dropping that leg down. A quick brake check in the parking lot showed that something with suspension hauling something with suspension made things a little wonky. I went from one...
I tried it for the first time today, and it works better than I expected. I used a IR temp gun to measure the block, 27°F at the start, after only an hour it was 50° on the opposite side of the block, 70° on the same side of the block as the heater. I didn't think 27°F would be too much of...
Well, I did. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with it yet, but it will fit behind my M923A2. I might not license it and just pull it behind a tractor to haul fire wood. It's a pretty good trailer, one of the brake levers doesn't move the arm to acuate the parking brake, the TM says you...
Here's the thread with the block heater instructions I followed, post #14 by 74M35A2 :http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?114718-block-heater
