Pics from today
Gotta say Jakes set up was the bomb sorry to those I left out . Jake I was hoping to meet you but my wife got a little sick and we had to leave .
While driving on Fairfax Blvd. yesterday I spotted some green iron with a sign . I turned around to find quite the motorpool of iron and the owner is having an event today and tomorrow.
Wife and I went to Paw Paw WV Memorial Day car show and parade . The Parade committee awarded us 3rd place best appearing pretty cool considering we had to drive on dirt roads to get there and didn't wipe the truck down like everybody else did .
Doghead it was more of a reference to his service and the fact for 22 yrs i watched him build and repair everything and anything. He work as a heavy equipment union operator and had his own business repairing hydrulic jacks and mounting truck tires. But thanks foe the history lesson on PB blaster .
I went to HD got a DeWalt 18 volt impact and used lots of PB blaster and burned through a bunch of batteries .
I didn't chase the treads some were way to far gone took a couple days but they all came apart I didn't reuse that rim though I just wanted to get the tire off. I must've watched Wes...
Yes thank you I think I have a 923 that was rebuilt n a Friday or Monday as I've looked at several others with the 6cta engine and there were little diffrences . What really gets me is when I'm looking at the TM and only half of what the TM is showing is matching up.
Thank you you to everyone...
There should be a bleeder valve thanks but not one there 3 of us looked for it anyway as usual those willing to help and not just tell me to go read the TM were of great assistance . I had written a lengthy expiination but if you just read the TM everything will go ok all the vehicles are the...
Mine is currently not registered we use it for use on our property in WV despite 28 yrs in the Fire Department no one ever wanted us to have CDLs and I drive a tractor drawn aerial and also a KW with a beer truck body mass casualty unit. My neighbors all have there 5 tons registered for...
Pics of the top of the canister filter with the air chuck . It ran for about a minute today with the air filter removed and some ether after breaking the line and pumping to 100 plus and getting a stream . I also removed and reseated the gasket and o ring on the canister filter just to make sure...
Dog head yes I did read and print the TM before attempting this and had I believe page 470 to 473 or 3-105 thru3-107 open when I completed the change . I had read here that guys pressurized the systems from the fuel caps guess I was wrong about the air chuck ontop of the canister filter . TM...
I thought it was a stream but maybe it was a dribble . The top of the canister filter has an air chuck I hooked to that and only head fuel bubbling in tank did I screw up completely ?
So I gave the fuel filter change a try cause I was sick of looking at filters on the work bench. Glad I did as there was black gunk in the big filter . Despite going back and reading this entire tread and trying everything but new fuel lines no go truck will not fire.
