My gasser suburban blows white smoke when cold, my gasser landcruiser does too, and the deuce. I think its normal for cold rigs, otherwise i got alot of headgaskets to do. White smoke = water/antifreeze.

A 1/12 scale deuce would be about 27 inches long and 8 inches wide. If I'm not mistaken. I may need be off some but I have a pair if 1/5th scale RC Baja trucks and they are about4ft long and 2ft wide.

You can buy ARBs for 850ea. Power steering for way less then 3k and the base price of way less. Then 15k.

I'd go to 100dollarman in Cali over boyce personally. Dunno what boyce charges for a bobbed deuce, but 100dollarman I've delt with and have always had fantastic service. Boyce isn't bad, but most of the things I've seen of theres is way overpriced.2cents

I know that.... I was telling him what truck had the 400. The M numbers are pretty simular between both dumpers may have been misheard by eastersurplus, hence the different engine info, ect.

The M917(I think) which is a 8x6 Dumper has the Cummins 400. Its also the same platform as the M920 I believe. A whole different series of trucks then the 939 series.

If we do an overnight, Its only 5 bucks a night to park on the sand, or like 10 bucks to stay in the parking lot. Sandlake isnt a massivly huge area, but there is some fun to had in the trucks. Id vote an over nighter, as it about a 2 hour drive from Portland. Do like a friday nighter through...

I've taken my deuce to sand lake. It's aprox 15miles south of tillamook, Or on us 101. It's pretty truck friendly and lots of places to camp and park.
