If it can be palletized, I would suggest Old Dominion Freight Lines or R&L Carriers over Yellow.
Call them and let them know your budget, and they'll work with you. Emphasize that it is class 50 (scrap), and non-perishable :-D.

As Will said, it's taking air somewhere in the system. A good place to start is w/ the tank selector valve on the floor. Afterwards, trace the line to the injector pump and check for leaks.

It's time for me to go and get my M920 from GA.
Hairba11 and I will be heading down to GA on Monday, and then driving back on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Anybody along the route available for help if it breaks? We'll be filling the trunk of hairba11's car to the brim w/ tools and fluids, so we'll...
I couldn't see why not.
The trailer weighs 15K lbs (total). Look at the data plate, see what the rear tandem axle weight is (both axles, empty), divide by 4, and see if that is under the load rating of the tires.

Wow! Thanks, Soni! You read my mind as to the next set of questions that I had!
When you start out, do you use 1st, or is it ok to start in a higher gear, like 4th or 6th?
Thanks,
Andy
Title sez it all, I bought an M920, and I intend to drive it home. An idea of the differences between it and an M818 would be helpful :-D.
I believe the TM # is 9-2320-273-10.
Thanks,
Andy
I can't help w/ any of the planetary questions, but here is what I know of the 10 ton axles:
(This info is for the axles off of an M123 series truck.)
Only the front (steering) axle is a planetary (portal?) design, the 2 rear axles are scaled up 5 ton axles.
The gear ratio is approx 9:1...
From Left to Right:
M818
M816 #1 (front winch & vise removed and added to the M818 on the left)
M816 #2
M35A2 (former fire truck)
M123E2
M109
M36 (another former fire truck)
