Went out last weekend with few LEOs and had a blast. Literally... Anyway, utilizing the M109a3 high roof as a mounting point for the 12 feet by 42 feet tarp. I also got 4 10 feet support 1/2 pipes with strings holding it in place.
I pumped pretty much full (50 Gallon) of diesel for my trip. This trip mainly freeway and i only got 322 miles from my M109A3. Ouch... that is 6.33 MPG. Now 80/20 Oil/Gas sounds really good now.

I just got a generator head to be install into my engine for the M109. Anyone have info on this? I got a 5000 watt which is plenty for my box with AC. This is a belt driven generator power by the truck engine.

I am not sure if this thread belongs to this section but anyone ever try putting solar panels on a M109? I am thinking about 5 panels of 100W each. I wonder what would 500W is useful power for a small frig or a portable AC.
