Well if you beat it out the threads are probably trashed. Atleast 10 bolts are a dime a dozen and you can upgrade to a better gear ratio. Or you could upgrade to 1 ton axles.
I agree replace injectors. I use ac delco AC60-G glow plugs and have never had a problem. In the cucv faq thread there is alot of information about the differnt glow plugs.
Here is a link to all the wiring diagrams. CUCV Wiring diagrams and technical articles. - CUCV Electric They are also listed in the TM's but I like how these are color coded. These should help you get in converted back to the original 24 volt system. Cucv electric is a great place to get any...
Im sorry but it would much easier to help you if we could understand what you are saying. Could you please use proper spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and sentence structure. I also agree you should return it to the proper 24 volt system.
I used.spray in bedliner in my wheel wells it is holding up great. I wouldnt spray por15 it is very toxic and you cant see.any brush strokes if you brush it on.
Fully charge your batteries and then have them load tested. Sometimes they will read full but they are an open circuit and are very weak. You can get them load tested usually for free at any auto parts store. Is their any lights coming on your dash?
I am debating weather i should use carc 383 green or the rapco substitute 383 to paint my m1009. Has anyone painted their mv's using the rapco rattle cans? I would like to see pictures of some of your trucks painted with rapco.
Thanks.

The 6.2 detroit diesel is not a bad engine. The military version is a j code so it is slightly different. The only real problem with these motors is their lack of power. With these 6.2s majority of the issues we have are with the glow plugs and the injection pump. As long as your not looking...
I replaced mine with the cucv electric part. When I pulled my old sensor there was an adapter piece on it. It adapted it from a larger hole.and bigger thread to a smaller hole and smaller thread. This piece was stuck to my old sensor. I had to put it into a vice and work the old sensor out...
When you buy one look at the wiring. If you see alot of new connectors and newer wires or alot of miscellaneous splices into the harness. Avoid that truck at all costs. If it has been convereted to 12 volt i would avoid it because most of the resources on ss would be useless for you. And...
Any of the doors from that vintage of the c/k series will fit. Swapping the components isnt to hard. The hardest thing will be hooking up the power to the new power windows and adding a switch but that shouldnt be to difficult. Make shure you add an inline fuse.
Goodluck.
I just did my m1009 windows lmc sells a window seal kit that comes with everything you need to do both sides for around $100. you don't have to but i found it easier to remove the vent window assembly and then you have room to disconnect the window from the regulator. it slides into two...
Idecided to tear down the front end so i can clean things up. I removed the front axle so i could repaint it. next is the rear axle. I am also painting the bumper mounts and the frame with por15. I have done alot of welding to close all the holes in the floor and on the sides. i have pulled...
