Anyone ever have this problem? Brake lights come on but doesn't turn off when release of the brake?

I somewhat shorted my turning signal when I was trying to add two more 7" LED brake/turn signal lights. After the short, the old flasher would on on the other side of the turn signal. So I change to a new flashers and now, the brake and turn lights go on but doesnt flash. Is is possible that...

What I recently found out that I dont really need the 12V alternator. I have two 100W solar panels and it provides more than enough power. When I drive my truck during the day time, I am literally over charging my deep cycle batteries.

I do have the spring base but I was careless driving and one of the Joshua Tree decided to do a clothes-line on me.
