I took my M101A1 to trailer shop a few days ago... It still has all original parts minus the tires. I am having them replace the axle hubs etc.. What I will have installed: 3500 lbs axle (same diameter) Brackets for shocks removed from old and attached to new 5 on 5 hubs to match tow vehicle...

Nah, Ill buy one of my buddies Genny Trailers (M101A3 models) and keep it until I'm ready to switch the box over. That will be if I ever get serious about a 2500 series Burban.. Till then, I'll be going with the 3500 lb Axle and the 5 on 5 lugs...

Its more ore being able to use the trailer tires as spares for the truck. If I absolutely needed to get somewhere I could forsake the trailer and come back for contents.
