Tough Country 2" HD front springs to level my M1028?

The center pin on 1 spring sheared off and the middle leaf is working its way out if the spring pack. I could get by taking it all apart and replacing the center pin, bushings, and u bolts. I figure I might as well upgrade the springs while its apart. As far as the zero rates, I'm pretty sure in...

Tough Country 2" HD front springs to level my M1028?

I'm thinking of installing a set of Tough Country 2" HD front springs (pn # 18217) to level my M1028. I'm just looking to get rid of the rake that these trucks seem to have. I searched through most of the lift kit post I found, but most of them were about bigger lifts to clear 37" tires. Im...

    Brett09's M1008 build thread

I've been following your build, I like the idea. I didn't post because I don't have any experience with a swap like this. I would be interested to know the total cost involved and the mpg's of your truck when done. Good luck with it.

what would you pay for an m1028?

Here in Mass $2000 is a steal for a running & driving M1028 regardless of the rust. The axles alone sell for $1500 around here.

I'm in southern mass if you get in a jam. Others have offered good advice so far, but how about your spare tire? Make sure it's not rusted in place. While your at it, check your lug wrench and jack.
