    MRAP wheels? These have an 13" spread instead of a 11" that the FMTVs have. Someone mentioned they may be from the newer Caimen or the RG31 variant. They are steel and their weight is over 100# each

    On my truck they do not rub at all. I trimmed a bit of the overlapping plastic and no issues.

    Finally a solution: The problem ended up being the HEUI pump. The pump nut backed off the beveled sprocket and was free spinning. We cleaned, lock tite and torqued to 75 LBS. Truck fired up and we are a few hundred miles down the road cruising at an average speed of 68.

    Ok. CAT computer on. 3lbs fuel pressure 220 lbs oil pressure. (Needs over 800 to start) Looks like Heui pump gear has failed. Anyone have ave one laying around they want to sell?

    Trying to convince them to hook it up today and try to communicate with it. The service manager wanted to push me off until next week sometime. Waiting on the owner to make a decision, seems like a good group of guys and I am hoping for the best.

    In a tow truck being towed to the CAT dealer. AAA RVplus does not cover the cost of towing the FMTV family of vehicles. only reason I had AAA too.

    So got the fuel drained just as a precaution and added five gallons of know good diesel. Drained filters and lines and reprimed. Nothing. Dead truck. Looks like Ike we are going to that CAT dealer via tow truck

    Honestly that’s why I drained the filters to check if the place sold me the wrong fuel. It is diesel. My soaked clothes are a testament to it
