I know it's been a while since I started this thread, been real busy at work. Here are a few more pics of the tear down, day 1 and day 2. Stainless steel floor pans, held in place with spray foam insulation....

Thanks, lots of time is a understatement. I used 2 large spools of welding wire on that puppy. 151's can be a real test of patience to say the least. In most cases the rust has rust. Nate

I have had this 38 on the back burner for a couple of years. Time to :grd: DAY ONE The tear down.

This one was a "nothing to lose practice run" it has been passed on to a friend. I have since started my M38 now build day 5.

I think I have some work to do in the next few weeks.

This is a very common problem, even with new carbs. Just set the choke till it bumps the idle up a little. It will run fine. Nate
