If its not going to be a show truck I would leave it alone and just say it adds character. I'm thinking about trying to
take a few small dents out of an old motorcycle tank and I was thinking of similar ways to do it, but if I screw it up the
cost of finding another tank would probably more...
It will fade and get dull, its the nature of the Alkyd enamels. Every time I've painted a different part it is shiny for a few months. If you used hardners it will keep the gloss longer.
I would think it was the coolant/antifreeze. Any chance you bought the pre-diluted stuff and diluted it?
I've almost picked up the diluted antifreeze by mistake.
I want to thank Tim and his family again for the Hospitality, it was an awesome
time and I will dearly miss it, if it does not return. I could make a lot of excuses for why I didn't help more with the rally than I did, but excuses are just that.
Tim has done a great job of making this event...
I think most of the vehicles have already been posted. I'll just add two photos.
I had a great time and enjoyed the great comadadrie with old friends and new.

I get to meet all my new neighbors when the hurricanes come through, the older ones gave up.
Get to know your neighbors and someone will rat out the culprit. I wouldn't do anything more than they did, just find something they are doing and report it to the proper authorities. I'm lucky that
I...

had a different smell to the exhaust. I drained it and put about 20 gallons of diesel and then started
to add old gas from lawnmowers and boats. After adding the gas I started having problems with...
No idea on the cost. The brake lines require a double lap flare. Make sure you
get pre-made lines that have it or invest in the flaring tools to do it properly!
I still have a few left to do on mine. I'm sure someone has something on here about how to do it. I think I've found them before, but...
Brake components that had the dot 3 can corrode from the inside, not visible. I would replace any as
soon as possible on something that old. I'm not familiar with the systems on that truck, but if its a single circuit
like the M35, I wouldn't take any chances.
As long as you isolate it to the one 12v battery your OK. If there were 24v to an individual battery of 12v it would be spectacular I'm sure. Radios and 12v accessories are added to golf carts(mostly 36v) all the time by just isolating two of the 6v batteries. If your still unsure take a...
