I need to add some OHT to the Airpak but the new shorter style has no plug to facilitae this. Should I disconnect the airline at the Airpak and add there or where?

LOL - No winch left behind, gotta love that thought! I do know when the owner prior to me recovered the truck the whole mess on the front basically 'fell off' as it was held on by a few self tap screws and number plate size fasteners. I just want to either put it back to wo/w of w/w but...

Oh no offense on the 'hack job' comment, it just seems a real cluster of parts. I would even settle taking off all the crap and putting a bumper back on. Looks like the bumper was welded (badly) I might add. May be I can trade the 5 Ton for a 2.5 ton setup. Thanks.

My truck came with a 5 Ton non-operational winch, pump etc was never fitted. I want to remove the beast and fit the correct winch. I have the PTO but no drive shaft. Looking at the pictures, is this a 5 Ton bumper or messed up 2.5 Ton? Other than the correct winch and drive shaft, any guess...

I would also on the blank data plate get it marked with the frame VIN, will make it much easier at inspection time as the inspector will match the VIN on the registration to the data plate.

:ditto: My kits from Saturn had various splines, one of which and a matching brass nut fitted the air wiper motor shaft to mimic the original wipers, the new arm then pressed onto the spline.

Are you installing a wiper arm and blade upgrade kit from Saturn Surplus or ?

Passenger side, take the air cleaner off, easy to see. Yes and no on the thud, seemed to be - turn over then second go thud etc....think it was f'ing up the contacts on the stater button, I have ordered a new one and will add Bjorn's diode fix as well.

As I work over my new-to-me Deuce, I find things to sort out. When replacing the air cleaner element, I noticed what I now know as a broken and bypassed Magnetic Start Relay (MSR). Using the information found on SS, I realized that the start button was switching a much larger load than ever...

And I might add, I actually used the Search and found that this relates to the installation of seat belts and is NOT a rebuild tag of any kind......gotta love that search feature!

Jay, I have a new sealed beam in the box from Erik's if you need it ASAP. Also have one of those inspection cameras on a flexable probe if you think that will help finding the leak. Just let me know. Martin.
