This Dodge Power Wagon article is from 1987, I've had it in a box of car, plane, NASA & ship stuff. Just thought it might be interesting for the Dodge truck fans to read. These are great trucks!!
TadB...are you sure it's tha same truck? I compared the pics side by side and there are enough large and small differences to make me think you found another 10 ton truck. Of course a few of the things I see could have been changed, but other differences are things that wouldn't have been...
Just FYI....I saw this ad and decided to pass it along in case someone is interested.

When I was at the GL lot in Warner Robins last week, there were a lot of M35A3s - but most were tagged "FMS Freeze". The signs said for "El Salvador". The dates on the signs were September 2008, so maybe they will not be sent? Or does it take THAT long?
Also saw M35A2s for El Salvador and Morocco.
From AM General's website, I added the bold text to highlight a few things.
How many Humvees have been built since first introduced?
About 240,000 have been sold around the world since their introduction in 1985.
Can the public purchase military Humvees?
No. The Humvee was designed for a...
Show off.....:razz::razz::razz:
Seriously - it looks great! You'll be able to find it at any SS rally!!
Did you have the pattern all planned out or just shot as you went?
Just wanted to say thanks to clinto for letting me stop by today. He gave me a lesson in Deuce operation, showed me what to look for in one, took me for a ride and then...yes...allowed me to drive a Deuce for the first time!
So thanks again clinto and clintogf for being nice, patient and...
How far is your daily commute? If it's short and easy each way (10 miles?) then it might be okay, with more regular maintenance of course.
On the other hand if you'll be driving 30 or 40 miles each way, in stop-n-go traffic, I'd say you'll be better picking another vehicle.
Plus, will...
Recent update.....
July 7, 2009:
AECOM Government Services Inc. in Fort Worth, TX received a $28.3 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for maintenance and repair of the final 2,200 M1114 up-armored vehicles for transfer to the Iraqi Army.
Work is to be performed in Iraq, with an estimated...
These photos are from REO Trucks: 1910-1966 Photo Archive.
In pic number 4, notice the Deuces in the upper left corner....are they tractors or just unfinished trucks? Looks like one has low mounted headlights and two high mounted...being produced at the same time. They look like gas models.
Okay...who just bought the two cheap copies of this book from Amazon??? There were two new copies for about $25 and now they are GONE!!! Confess!!
Just kiddin'. If an SS member bought them, I'm glad...you'll enjoy it!!!
I saw that too, and agree with your assessment. I started to mention it when I posted this article and ask everyone about it, but didn't. Sounds like we agree on the answer - they should have made the distinction between the trucks.
In later chapters it mentions that Reo competed against GM...
This book was printed in 2006. If your interested in old trucks, it's a great book. Lots of very good pictures (some in color), and informative text dealing with Reo's early history, through its purchase by White, and the final years with other owners. Talks about the employees, the dealers and...

This is from the book The World's Toughest Truck: The Reo / Diamond Reo Story, by Ebert, Neal & Fijalkovich. This article is part of Chapter 5, which gives you a brief look at the history of the Reo designed M34/M35 trucks. The book provides a complete history of the company, especially the...
