hey guys what are all of the designations for the wreckers? do they all have front winches?
Anyways a friend of mine and i are trying to put together all of the wreckers designations.
Those things are so nice.
Here is my next question. Did the older m800 series come with detroit lockers? How can you tell when they have detroits other than driving them?
Can you put the airshift from a 900 in an 800 series? Did the 800's ever come with singles? Is there manual lockout hubs...
so what designation would one be with super singles detroit lockers and a winch?
did the older m800 series have detroit lockers etc in them? How do you tell?
RE: Re: RE: transfer case questions
im talking about being able to completely lock-in/ lockout the front axle like the m35 airshifts.
Does anyone make locking hubs for the five tons like the duece?
Are all the five tons equipped with detroit lockers front and rear?
so the a2's are hard to find huh. any commericial company have them?
Any on the west coast?
I have heard that the allisons autos have troubles in these, is that true?
Has anyone ever put a turbo on the nhc250?
ok guys how do the transfer cases engage on the five tons?
Do they have a selectable in cab switch to knock the front axle in or out?
specifically the newer m818 and m932 etc series.
hey guys were the transmissions and transfer casese mated in these things or divorced?
what model tranny/ transfer do they have?
Would a later sm465 go in its place?
hey guys i have been trying to use the search to find if anyone has made their duece a four door to no success.
Anyone out there done it and have pics/ links/ advice?
Me and a fellow mver were thinking of keeping the truck the same size and putting four doors on it shortening the original bed...
