Correct. If you have fluid coming out it would be time for new seals. I had to do mine on my Blazer since one side starting leaking. Not too hard of a task though.

Another guy had a runaway starter (didn't have the DH mod done) and it fried some wiring. I have been fixing the bad wiring and came across something I have never noticed before. On the bus bar there is a small wire with a resister (I think) on it that connects the positive and negative sides...

Also- what type of axles are you swapping in?
