I have quotes now for $1050 and 1200 but looking for someone looking to pay there fuel and make some extra$ not someone doing this for a living.
Have an M151 I need moved from Phoenix AZ to Minneapolis Minnesota. Needs to be an enclosed trailer or some way it will not get beat on a cross county treck. Need this done ASAP pay is along the line of 800 to 1000 depending. Ready to go to day.
What about the hood number? This is consistant with being USMC. The Body number indicates it is fairly late. The last contract for the USMC. Ken (mutt Guru) says these are 79 or 80 I think they are latter like 82 83 but??? The horn if original has a date as does the carb again if original.
Lots of holes on this one :cry: Hope you can help with what I do have.

Not to spoil my own selfish needs (as I would like to buy the TOW stuff you did get). But they did mount these on M151A1s, also The TOW system was out in the late 60s. One of the more "published" pictures is of a USMC M151A1 from a left rear 3/4 view in the middle of firing.

If you do have other M151 Series Info That is Great also. It all makes the picture clearer. So many obviously had the data plates removes so the only way to figure things out are from hood numbers if still there and or body numbers.
Still needing information. The Guru (aka Ken) and I have all the Ford built A2s into a data base but MANY of the entries do not have body numbers. If you have given info before but did not give a body number please take the time to do so. When we put Kens larger list with mine we still only come...

Unless you all ready have the adapters stick with the originals.... Adapters are VERY unavailable and when they do come up are VERY pricey. Usually negating any cost saving you would have seen.
Jack Martin in Tucon is good to go but you will do lots of looking.
Sad to say but Jack Tomlins in Utah is a no go. Jack passed away last month.:cry:

When was or??? the 25 amp generator changed to 60 amp alternator. I assume all A2s had alternators but...
